How to choose home internet?

Wired internet reaches your apartment or house over a cable, so the choice starts with your address: see which providers serve your city, then compare technology and speed. Fibre (FTTH, GPON) delivers hundreds of Mbit/s and stable performance, FTTB is usually capped at 100 Mbit/s, and ADSL remains an option where fibre has not arrived. Look at the full cost: the monthly fee after the promo period, router and set-top-box rental, the contract term and early-termination rules.
